He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Callaway and Minnie Callaway (Wise); his siblings, Donald, Kenny, Bob Callaway, Genevieve Biggs and Ruth Hipsher; his grandson Seth Callaway; and his great grandchild Jada Rose Smith.

He is survived by: his children, James Callaway (Jean) of Logansport, Richard Callaway (Kelly) of Logansport, Debbie Foster (Dave) of Peachtree, GA and Anita Lee (Bobby) of Galveston; his stepsons, Timothy Morgan (Carole) of Port Charlotte, Steve Morgan (Karen) of Logansport and Mike Morgan (Mary Lou) of Logansport; his brother Glen Callaway (Doris); his brother-in-law Jim Hipsher; his grandchildren, Ed Callaway, Doug Callaway, Mike Callaway, Christy Callaway, Kevin Foster, Kari Munoz (Chad), Ryan Reynolds (Chrystal) and Matt Reynolds; and his stepgrandchildren, Heather Meredith (Jerry), Brad Morgan (Lindsay), Michelle Remley (Jamie) and Jason Morgan (Elizabeth). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
