She was predeceased by: her parents, Corniluis Soest and Gertrude Van Soest (Van Schuur); her siblings, Maurice Van Soest, Clarence Van Soest, Jennetta Bauerly, Anna Wilcox, Verna Van Soest, Mabel Reeves, Gertrude Hayden Little and Cornelia Van Soest; her son-in-law Richard Weaver; and her grandson Wesley Weaver.
She is survived by: her husband Donald R. "Orrie" Taylor; her children, Donald Taylor (Nancy) of Royal Center, Sadonna Weaver of Monticello and Alicia Pifer (Bob) of Royal Center; her grandchildren, Rod Taylor, Rachel Anders (Michael Taylor), Jill Shannon (Kathryn Weaver) and Christina Pifer (Coretta Pifer); and her siblings, Melvin Van Soest of Logansport and Lealla Pullium of Richmond. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
