He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ploss and Ellen Ploss (Turnipseed); and his sister Delores Roth. He is survived by: his wife Susie Ploss of Royal Center; his children, Donald Ploss (Tammy) of Star City and Donna Grandstaff of Logansport; his siblings, George Ploss (Bonnie) of Michigan, Oscar Ploss (Betty) of Monticello and Lucille Smith of Idaville; his grandchildren, Brook Shaffer (Travis), Stephanie Ballina (Frankie) and Chris Williamson; and his great grandchildren, Madyson, Aubrey Shaffer and Alexandria Ballina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
