He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ross and Pansie Marie Ross (Russell); and his wife Debbie Gibbs Ross. He is survived by: his daughters, Misty Pfefferkorn (Chris) of Kokomo and Marie "Mimi" Harness of Lucerne; his son-in-law Jeff Harness; his grandchildren, Mason (Casey), Makala, Gabby and Talen; and his siblings, Dennis Ross (Donna), Dale Ross (Joyce), Derek Ross, Daniel Ross, Mike Ross (Gary Ross) and Julie Ross. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
