He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Evans and Virginia B. Evans (Bosworth); and his brother Robin Steven Evans. He is survived by: his wife Irene G. Hitch; his sons, Ben Hopkins (Rhonda) of Rossville, Noel Evans (Pattie) of Cutler and Matthew Evans (Elizabeth) of Rossville; his siblings, Beth Ann Jahrman (Ronald) of Indianapolis and Jay Daniel Evans (Diana) of Kokomo; and his grandchildren, Alexa, David, Evan Hopkins, Gabrielle Evans, Emma Evans, Lynzie Primeau (Mark) and Brock White (Emily). He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
