He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Fingerle and Maude Fingerle (Miller); and his great grandchild Zachary Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Miller; his children, Jack Fingerle (Mel) of Rossville and Gladys Metzger (Gerald) of North Manchester; his siblings, Elsie Geiser of North Manchester, Pauline Miller of North Manchester, Doris Kelsey of North Manchester, Kenneth Fingerle of North Manchester and Chester Fingerle of North Manchester; and his grandchildren, Kevin Fingerle, Crystal Hodges, Gwen Metzger, Brad Fingerle, Brenda Caldwell, Gloria Flick and Gail Metzger. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, and five step great, great grandchildren.
