Arlene J. (Plank) Gangwer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arlene J. (Plank) Gangwer (Rossville, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Plank and Genevieve Plank (Wise); and her husband Robert Gangwer. She is survived by: her sister Donnabelle Ferrill of North Carolina; her nieces and nephews, Debbie Shockey of Delphi, Sondra Lambert (Larry) of Maryland, Dan Gangwer (Karen) of Lafayette, Dean Gangwer (Kim) and Gail Ladd (Andy) of Cutler; and her grandchildren, Richard Goris, Lana Crum, Nick Lambert, Bryan Lambert, Rachel Duncan, Lloyd Gangwer, Monica Kamp, Ashley Gamboa, Dustin Gangwer, Montana Gangwer, Austin Ladd and Ethan Ladd. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Day & Genda Funeral Home~bodine Chapel (450 IN-39, Rossville, IN 46065). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Arlene's honor to the Rossville Volunteer Ambulance Service.
