He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Anna. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Pinnell; his children, Rick Landes of Bloomingdale, Steve Landes (Tina) of Rosedale and Sherri Gondeck (Greg) of Frederick; his grandchildren, Cody Landes, Casey Landes of Alana Bailey, J. R and Thomas Gondeck; his stepgrandsons, Joseph, Jared Inman, Dane and Blaine Leatherman; his siblings, Dorothy Ann and Robert; and his daughter-in-law Sheila. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home (281 N Main St, Rosedale, IN 47874). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests honoring Richard's legacy by mentoring others and sharing your smile, as he so often did.
