He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lewis Sutherland and Mary Helen Gill Sutherland. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Loyd Sutherland; his daughters, Donna Greene (Tony) of Rosedale and Amber Richey of Rosedale; his sister Diana Stephens of Oakwood, Illinois; his grandchildren, Keara Derrick (Kaleb), Jed Richey, Gabe Richey, Tommy Greene, James Greene, Cierra Greene-Emmons (Dakota), Isaac Greene and Wyatt Greene; his great grandchildren, Kenna Derrick and Keith Greene-Emmons; his nephew Joe Stephens (Julie) of Matoon, Illinois; and his great-nieces, Samantha Stephens and Ramsey Shoot-Brown.
