He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawson Sr. and Helen Burton Lawson; his son Patrick Petit; and his siblings, William Lawson Jr., Jack Lawson and Janice Fields.
He is survived by: his wife Lora Frazier Lawson; his children, Lee Ann Brubeck of Rockville, Kevin Lawson of Terre Haute and Brian Petit of Terre Haute; and his siblings, Paul Lawson of Fontanet, Mike Lawson of Fontanet and Linda Ladd of Seelyville. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home (281 N Main St, Rosedale, IN 47874). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
