He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Vandivier and Dorothy Overpeck Vandivier; his brothers, Jim and Murrel Vandivier; and his sisters-in-law, Carol and Kay Vandivier.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hodson Vandivier; his children, Victor Vandivier (Franklyn) of Terre Haute, Brad Vandivier (Jennie) of Paris, Norma Organ (Jim) of Rosedale and Shay Vandivier (Rebecca) of Rosedale; his siblings, Joseph Vandivier of Whiteland, John Vandivier (Pat) of Thorntown, Tim Vandivier of Terre Haute and Linda McIndoo of Muncie; and his sister-in-law Chloe Vandivier of Bridgeton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
