It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex J. Allen of Romney, Indiana, born in Warren, Indiana, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph F. Allen and Susie I. Allen (Ratcliff); his wife Clara N. "Susie" Wood; his brothers, Thornton Allen, Gene Allen (Barbara) and John C. Allen; his grandson Rex Lee Allen Martin; and his brother-in-law Melvin Hancock.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard L. Allen (Peggy) and Randall L. Allen (Darla) of Colfax; his grandchildren, Brianna Bliss (Jereme), Olivia Rose Allen, Michelle Bollinger (Nathen), Matt Jackson and Drew Jackson; his sister Eileen Hancock; and his sisters-in-law, Wreatha Allen and Barbara Allen. He is also survived by Nine Great-Grandchildren.
