She was predeceased by: her parents, John Meagher and Mary Meagher (Slaughter); and her siblings, Opal Murray, Glenanna Staring, Ethel Carso and Max Meagher.
She is survived by: her husband George William Cox of Rome City, IN; and her sons, George William Cox Jr. (Patty) of Conover, NC, Dr. Michael Cox (Patty) of Rome City, IN and Dr. Gregory Cox (Sharon) of Springville, IN. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
