Rupert of Rome City, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph John Rupert, Sr. and Ida Irene Rupert (Evans); his wife Ruth J. Cook; his son Jonathan Rupert; and his siblings, Jane Fluke, Robert Rupert, Tom Rupert and Ralph Rupert.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Ritchie (David) of Ellijay, Laura Freeman (Rick) of Macy, Pauletta Rupert of Marysville, Melanie McKean of Waterloo, Rebecca Miller (Mike) of Howe, Daniel Rupert (Marie) of Jackson, Robert Rupert of Wolcottville, Sean Rupert (Kim) of Topeka and Michael Rupert (Brittney) of Rome City; his daughter-in-law Andrea Rupert of Dahlonega, Georgia; and his siblings, Ruth Waldron of Kendallville, Carolyn Latta of Kendallville, Keith Rupert (Peggy) of Albion and Greg Rupert (Deena) of Albion. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
