She is survived by: her close friend Beau; her children, Connie Raypole (Ron) of Columbia City, CherylAnn Collett (James) of Rome City, Karl Behrens (Tammy) of Fort Wayne and Carrie Lynn Snyder (Mark) of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren, Samantha Miller (Bryan) of Fishers, Courtney Bumbaugh (Ryan), Carson Schrader (Diane), Corinna Armour (Andrew) of New Palestine, IN, Alexandria Irwin (Logan) of Fort Wayne, Kolin Behrens of Hyattsville, Kailey Wilkinson (Sam) of Waco, Kendall Creech of Mapleton, Colten King of Rome City, Brendan Creech of Fort Wayne, Adrienne Creech of Fort Wayne and Addison Creech of Fort Wayne; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Smith, Adelyn Smith, Owen Schrader, Wyatt Schrader, Jade Bumbaugh, Brooklyn Bumbaugh, London Bumbaugh, Grayson Irwin, Hudson Irwin, Isabella Creech, Avery Armour, Mia Armour and Baylor Armour.
To inspire future nurses, in 2012, Diane established the Diane R. Behrens Nursing Scholarship with the Whitley County Community Foundation for college junior or senior nursing majors.
