It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Joseph Hogan of Rome City, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Michael Thomas; his former wife Barbara J. Maldeney; and his siblings, Mary Hogan, Dr. Michael Hogan and Thomas Hogan.

He is survived by: his close friend James Crawford; his children, Mark Hogan (Kelly) of Huntington, Kelly Morris (Daniel) of Rome City and Leigh Pranger (Rick) of Rome City; his grandchildren, Matthew T. Hogan, Melany Morris and Molly Morris; his siblings, Kathleen "Kathy" Costello (Joe) of Rome City, Patricia Neil (Bill) of Fort Wayne, Ann Hogan of Fort Wayne, Ellen Hogan of Boulder, Colorado, James Hogan (Cora "Corky") of Fort Wayne and Timothy Hogan (Francie) of Fort Wayne; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Hogan of Indianapolis and Mary Barbara Hogan of Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are to the Rome City Lions Club, Sylvan Lake Improvement Association, or Masses to the church.
