He is survived by: his children, Dwight A. Miller (Courtney) of Avilla, Trina L. Gadson (Kevin) of Kendallville and Romona Hay (Phillip) of Topeka; his grandchildren, Emily Meadows (Cody), Reed Miller, Aaron Amburgey (Kelly), Greg Amburgey, Jr. (Shannon), Matthew Amburgey and Rebecca Monahan (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Adeline Rose Meadows and Madison Lynn Meadows; his niece Natalie Herron of Fort Wayne; and his close friend Mary Wells of Rome City. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
