She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Dopieralski and Marian Dopieralski; her parents-in-law, Emil and Marie Surma; and her sisters, Beverly DeGraf and Karen Lowery.
She is survived by: her husband David E Surma; her children, Anthony (Krissy Bogar), Chris (Jeri Shaw), Amy Wolfe of Rolling Prairie and Jon-Paul (Amy Wall); her grandchildren, Taylor, Jared Emmons of Rolling Prairie, IN., Claire, Addisyn, Piper Emmons of Rolling Prairie and Owen Sinder of Carol Stream, IL.; her brothers, Stanley Junior Dopieralski (Yvonne) of New Carlisle, IN. and Ronald; her sister-in-law DeVia Surma of Weatherby Lake, MO; her close friend Carol Sikora of Rolling Prairie, IN.; her brothers, Steven and Donald Dopieralski (Porky); her son-in-law Mike Wolfe (Amy); and her cousin Jackie Redman. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 6:30 AM at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home (1117 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (201 Bach St, La Porte, IN 46350).
