He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Johnson and Ethel Johnson (Ewen); his former wife Ruth Vivian Johnson; and his sons, Kevin and Robert Johnson.
He is survived by: his former wife Marcia; his children, Brian Johnson (Claudia) of Bentonville, AR, Paul Johnson (Frelin) of Union Mills, IN, Laurie Wright (Jeff) of Edwardsburg, MI and Katie Geise (Bart) of La Porte, IN; his siblings, Rodney Johnson (Ginny) of Hobart, IN, Tom Johnson (Shirley) of Belton, MO and Marilyn Pearson (Bill) of Valparaiso, IN; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Braden, Brad, Blake (Paige), Ben, Isaac Johnson, Jack Nehl, Zeke and Zander Geise. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
