Joyce Barnes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Barnes of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kebr and Rose Marie Kebr (Vanek); her daughter Connie Cummings; and her great grandchild Levi Stoner. She is survived by: her spouse Dale; her children, Bonnie Stoner (Donald) of Rolling Prairie, Darlene Barnes of Rolling Prairie, Gary Barnes of South Bend and Edward Barnes (Cindy) of Mill Creek; her grandchildren, Joshua Cummings (Rachel) of Crown Point, Adam Stoner (Ranai) of La Porte, Andrew Simmermeyer of La Porte, Lynnette Thomas (Benjamin) of Waldron, Tonya Hansen (Lee) of Champaign, IL, Nicholas Cummings, Suzanne Simmermeyer (John Kutscher) of Rolling Prairie, Candice Scott (Mark) of Rolling Prairie, Kyle Barnes of Rolling Prairie and Adriana Barnes (Michael Clizbe) of Sellerburg, IN; her great grandchildren, Arianna, Caroline Thomas, Owen, Isabella Scott, Jacob Herma, Chase Duttlinger, Beau, Sloan Hansen, Noah Cummings, Waylon Barnes and Jayda Simmermeyer; and her siblings, Richard Kebr of Burbank, IL and Mary Horvath (Frank) of Rolling Prairie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the recent Governor's Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask.
