He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia McCleland (Simpson); and his brother James McCleland. He is survived by: his children, Beth Prast (Kip) of Rolling Prairie, IN, Joede Covyeou of Niles, MI, Raychel Bogaert (Thomas) of La Porte, IN, James McCleland (Kristin) of Tempe, AZ, Gary McCleland (Michelle) of Noblesville, IN, Seth McCleland (Tricia) of Noblesville, IN and Richard Whitmire (Candy) of Niles, MI; and his siblings, Robert McCleland (Connie), Michael McCleland (Paula) and Karen Rison (Bennie). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
