With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nila Thom of Rockville, Indiana, who passed away on September 25, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Staley and Ethel Staley; her husband Carl Thom; her siblings, Nina Hilligas and Owen Staley; her daughter-in-law Kenna Thom; and her grandmother Murtle Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Bratcher (Steve) of Rosedale, Kenneth Thom of Rockville, Michael Thom (Tresa) of Rockville and Brenda Ferguson (Jason) of Whiteland; her grandchildren, Sabrina Shepherd (Kenneth), Tiffany Bratcher, Robert Fredrichs (Kayla), Jessica Thom (Brittany McWilliams), Sara Thom (Sam), Levi Fredrichs (Chelsey), Erica Thom (Trent Cline), Cole Ferguson (Maddi), Chase Ferguson, Cooper Ferguson and Cody Ferguson; her sister-in-law Mary Beth Hunsberger (Don); her cousin George Cox; and her pet Mushu. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
