It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Horutz Jr. of Rockville, Indiana, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Horutz, Sr. and Eleanor Kneller Horutz. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Ann Lucas (JoAnn); his son Jason Michael Horutz (Shannon) of Rockville; his stepdaughters, Lisa Roush (Bryon) of Rosedale and Jennifer Newcomer (Tom) of Maryland; his sisters, Jean Evenson (Dick) of Kasilof and Carol Davis; and his grandchildren, Cory, Stephen, Troy (Shanna), Samantha (Wade), Mackenzie, Cody and Matthew.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N Michigan Ave., Floor 17 Chicago, Illinois 60601 in memory of Michael.
