He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leslie McQueary and Daisy Leola Rembe McQueary; his son Michael McQueary; and his siblings, Ola Lee Winn, Joyce Matilda Zimmer and Bertis McQueary.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Ritcher McQueary; and his children, Linda McQueary of Rockville and Charles McQueary of Virginia. He is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
