She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Stepp and Marie Stepp; and her sister Joyce Karanovich. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Vitaniemi; her children, Steve Vitaniemi (Lisa) of Thorntown, IN., Kevin Vitaniemi (Sandi) of Hillsdale, IN. and Joyce Mack of Rockville, IN.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Serrano (Jose), Samantha Vitaniemi, Bailey Bryant (Jake), Emily Farrington (Austin), Kaci Mack and Courtney Mack; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Sophia Serrano, Tyler Farrington and Baya Bryant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Cayuga Christian Church, Parke Vermillion Human Society or The American Kidney Foundation.
