He was predeceased by: his sister Elaine Archambault. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Zagotta Peterson; and his children, Kathleen Knapke (Tom) of Rockville, Susan Mitsch (Glenn) of Lowell, Mark Peterson (Sally) of Clovis, John Peterson (Theresa) of Danville and Dwane Peterson (Tracey) of Columbia City. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
