She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Cottrell, Sr.; and her daughter Gabriella Dominique Cloyd. She is survived by: her mother Elzina Cogar Cottrell; her husband Russell D. Richardson; her sons, Otto Samuel Richardson of Shelbyville and Thomas Seaver Richardson of Rockville; her stepdaughter Jessalyn Michelle Norris of Sullivan; her siblings, Sandra Smith of Florida, Debra Richardson of Dana, Dennis Cottrell of Clinton, Samuel Cottrell, Jr. of Richland and Robert Cottrell of San Pedro, California; and her grandchildren, Makaylee, Brodee and Annamarie Michelle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home (281 N Main St, Rosedale, IN 47874). A reception will be held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Helt Fire and Rescue Dana Community Fire House (160 N Maple St, Dana, IN 47847).
