It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verne Bethel of Rockport, Indiana, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Englehart and Josie Mae England Bethel. He is survived by: his wife Edna Sue Bethel; and his children, Jay Bethel (Lois), Wayne Bethel (Carolyn), Donna Sheehan (Bill), Jody Emerson (Charles), Karla Ochoa (Eddie) and Ellen Hawn. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
