Stephen Eugene Wathen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Eugene Wathen of Rockport, Indiana, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wathen and Pauline Wathen (Henderson). He is survived by: his wife Wilma Wathen (Cameron); his children, Stephen Wathen, Rebecca Havener (Eric) and Sarah Leonard (Bill); his grandchildren, Sam Wathen (Kyle), Maddison Havener, Mason Havener (Bailey) and Veronica Leonard; and his siblings, Tony Wathen (Rose), Mike Wathen (Carol), Theresa Hinson (Jeff) and Joe Wathen (Jennie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home (527 Main St, Rockport, IN 47635). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (547 Elm St, Rockport, IN 47635).
