She was predeceased by: her father John Edwin; her siblings, John Ayer and Sheila Gunn; her great grandchild Isaiah Horn; and her close friend Frankie Embrey.
She is survived by: her sons, Eric Bennett of Rockport, IN and Patrick Bennett (Dawn) of Newburgh, IN; her brother Joe Ayer of Rockport, IN; her grandchildren, Carrie Bennett and Willie Bennett; her great grandchild Gracie Sherfield; and her caregiver Robin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
