He is survived by: his wife Wanda Murphy (Staats); his children, Jeremy Staats and Jenny Wade; his grandchildren, Morgan Wade, Zoe Wade and Jonah Wade; and his brothers, Daniel Murphy (Cindy), Michael Murphy and Patrick Murphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
