She was predeceased by: her parents, William Baker and Sally Baker (Dooley); her husband Ira Denver "Pete" Carter; and her close friend Donald "Donnie" Downey. She is survived by: her daughter Tonya Pershing (Chris); her granddaughter Miranda Davis (Donnie Phelps); her great grandchildren, Jaden Rose and Jalyn Davis; and her friend Ernie Blythe.
