She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann Leister and Elizabeth Leister (Schneider); her husband Charlie Sweat; and her sisters, Ilse Schreine, Rosie Schmidt and Theresa Becker.
She is survived by: her son Kenny Sweat (Norma "Sis"); her grandchildren, Adam Sweat, Kyle Sweat (Maria) and Jennifer Karvunidis (Niko); her great grandchildren, Carter, Dylan, Brantley Sweat, Bianca, Stella and Greta Karvunidis; her sister Liesel Erlenbeck; and her friend Crista Adamson.
