She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Estil Payne, Sr. and Zora Mae Payne (Mattingly); her husband James William Crawford, Jr.; her siblings, Burma Addis and Rebecca King; and her goddaughter Carolyn Hall.

She is survived by: her nephew Aaron Lee Schulte; her daughters, Mary South (Jessie) of Grandview and Elizabeth Ward (Rick Murphy) of Rockport, Indiana; and her siblings, Junior Payne, Charles Payne (Janet), Donnie Payne (Joann), Regina Beeler (Larry), Peggy Schulte (Herb), Judy Dickens (Mike), Lucy Payne (Edgar), Debbie Hall (Larry) and Paula Kellems. She is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home, or to St. Bernard Catholic Church.
