He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Estil Payne Sr. and Zora Payne (Mattingly); his granddaughter Chelsea Burden; and his sisters, Catherine Crawford, Rebecca King and Burma Addis.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Garrett, Tammy Winkler, Larry Payne (Jolan), Kenny Payne (Tina) and Cherie Burden (Scott); his grandchildren, Dane Winkler (Brennan), Wyatt Winkler, Jake Payne, Sydney Payne, Kenny Garrett (Sarah), Emily Lillpop (Chris), Kourtney Bartlett, Samantha Payne, Christian Payne (Laura), Meghan Kremer (Robert) and Andrew Burden (Taylor); and his siblings, Regina Beeler (Larry), Peggy Schulte (Herb), Judy Dickens (Mike Embrey), Charles Payne, Donnie Ray Payne, Lucy Payne (Edgar), Debbie Hall (Larry) and Paula Kellems. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
