It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Bumpus of Rockport, Indiana, born in Dixon, Kentucky, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Chester and Eunie Lorene Bumpus (Clark); and his siblings, Betty June Chandler, Peggy Ann Shoulders, James Carrol Bumpus, Denny Lee Bumpus and John William Bumpus.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bumpus (Buchanan); his children, Kimberly Wilson (Matthew) and Kelly Bumpus; his grandchildren, Kelsie Williams (Bryce), Matthew Wilson Jr. and Kate Wilson; his great grandchild Brexen Williams; his sister Mildred Jean Sigler; his sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann Bumpus and Shirley Bumpus; and his stepsons, Bennie Small (Elizabeth), Mike Epperson (Angela) and Tommy Epperson (Kelly). He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
