She was predeceased by: her father Hindrex Davis; her husband John David Shourds; her children, Marsha Roos and Michele Alexander; and her siblings, Lesley Davis, Benny Davis, Cecil Davis, Frankie Blankenship, Ruby Adkins, Esta Lipking, Dorothy Yates and Bessie Osborn.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Weatherholt; her grandchildren, David Weatherholt (Michelle) and Andrea Roos; her great grandchildren, Aubrie, Mychael, Etta and Kinnleigh; and her niece Jane Adkins.
