She was predeceased by: her former husband John Raymond Cooper Jr.; and her father Millard. She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Tingle and Verlie Hayes; her sons-in-law, Timothy and Elvis Wathen; her husband Robert Carter; her children, Doris Cooper, Karen Wathen, Carolyn Sue Schwoeppe (David), Ricky Cooper and Monica Lambert (Joe); her siblings, Pat Cochran, Ave Grizzel (Kenny) and Dean Gilbert; and her brother-in-law Jerry Cooper. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.
