He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Chancellor and Jessie Chancellor (Robinson); and his siblings, Fred, Bill, Jess Chancellor, Elgia Fraim, Lynell Funk, Rosa Mae Duncan and Lucille Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Ameda Colburn, Jesse Chancellor (Sherry) and Michael Decker (Ashley); his grandchildren, Caleb, Jessilynn, Jessiah, Noah, Colton, Camden and Chloe; and his sister Belvarine Abney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
