He was predeceased by: his parents, Friendy Swartz and Vera M. Swartz (Moore); his wife Mary Marie Baumgartner; and his siblings, Voris Swartz, Nick Swartz and Elizabeth Nelson.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra E. Van Tilburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
