With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Gene Reed (Rochester, Indiana), born in McDowell, Kentucky, who passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mart and Dora Reed; his brother Phillip Reed; and his granddaughter Makena Kay Whybrew. He is survived by: his children, Bridgette McClish (Brad), Keisha Melendez (Jose) and Phillip Reed; his grandchildren, Makayla McClish, Lindsey Zeiger, Gabriella Jimenez, Bryson McClish, Zane Whybrew, Brayden Whybrew, Jose Melendez and Antelio Melendez; his mother Alice "Kat" Ousley; his siblings, Cleisa McCoy (Jerry), Melissa Ousley, Marti Banic, Sandra Reed and Dean Ousley (Michelle); and his stepsons, Seth Blankenship and Corey Blankenship. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
