He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dwight Steininger and Zona Steininger; his former wife Betty Louise Rynearson; his wife Mary Diane White; his children, Melody Sweany (Martin Sandberg) of Rochester and David Steininger (Cindy) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Kim Meyer (Donnie), Angie Black (Ryan), Ashley Hayes (John), Carmen McFarland, Matthew Steininger (Jenny), Chad Steininger, Nathan Steininger (Megan) and Joshua Steininger (Jennifer); his siblings, Cledith Steininger (Sarah) of Valparaiso and Edith Kay Heishman (Gary) of Ft. Wayne; his children, Kenneth Gordon (Linda), James Gordon (Stacey) and Kimberly Sheets (Wade); his grandchildren, Caleb Sheets, David Sheets, Jacob Sheets and Erica Sheets; his daughter Debbie; his granddaughter Amanda Wagoner; and his sister Gladys Kuhn.
