With solemn reverence, we commemorate Jung Yu (Rochester, Indiana), whose life came to an end on February 26, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. Though Jung may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jung touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parent Tsen Tzu Yu. He is survived by: his wife Siem Yu Yu; his daughters, Jennivine Pitman (Levi) and Dr. Lena Yu (Alex Opell); and his grandsons, Jonathan Pitman of Vanuatu, Luke Pitman of Vanuatu, Amos of Vanuatu and Titus Pitman of Vanuatu.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home (1101 Jefferson St, Rochester, IN 46975). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
