The passing of Janice L. Pratt (Rochester, Indiana), born in Fulton, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavoy B. Hoffman and Martha E. Hoffman (Mathews); and her brother Richard Hoffman. She is survived by: her children, Cindy (Fred Sokol) of Elkhart, Barbara Newcomer of Elkhart, Sandra (Mike Inglehearn) of Rochester and Phil "Pete" (Melinda Pratt) of Akron; and her grandchildren, Chase (Dani), Riann (Mike), Melea (Brandon), Tara, Tabitha (Andy), Bryce, Derek (Sierra), Michael (Cassandra), Angelea (Eric) and William (Devin). She is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (3516 N 650 E, Rochester, IN 46975). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Rochester Ioof Cemetery (620 W 3rd St, Rochester, IN 46975).
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Bethlehem Baptist Church or to Heart to Heart Hospice.
