He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene and Bonnie Sue Cunningham Smith; and his siblings, Tamela Warren, Mark Smith and William "Peanut" Hawkins.
He is survived by: his husband Walter Rudy Nicholas; his children, Steven Hamilton (Amber Clemons) of Peru, Brittany Meier (Andrew) of Akron, Monn Sanders (Toma Walker) of Peru, Jared Nicholas of Fayetteville, NC and Kendall Geiger (Kaite Emery) of Marion; his grandchildren, Callie, Celes, Camara, Clarisity, Aaron, Annabelle, Henry, Audri, Jayden, Isaac, Kingston, Giuliana, Azsabella, Lucien, Azsriel and Renzo; his siblings, Pernell Marshall of Nappanee, Tonia Marshall of Akron, Arroyo (Gabriel) of Akron, Angela Marshall of Akron and Brad Smith (Heather) of Texas; and his pets, Niya, Pit Bull, Boxer and Xena. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Good Family Funeral Home (1200 W 18th St, Rochester, IN 46975). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
