He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dean and Bertha Cox Smith; and his sisters, Donna Ditmire and Vera Cook. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Ann Dawson of Richland Center; his children, Ken (Carla Smith) of Argos, Edward (Debra Smith) and Tonia Rensberger of Kewanna; his grandchildren, Jenny Steininger (Matt), David Smith (Tiffany), Rich Rensberger (Stephanie), Jessicka Rensberger (Van Lehenbauer), Bradley Szucs (Jordan), Marci Feldman (Brian), Kristi Stackman (Mike) and Mitchell Richard (Julia); and his sisters, Vivian Bush of Culver, Ellen Dewitt of Argos, Sandra Holcomb of Monterey, Victoria Swizek (George) of Granger and Jo Listenberger (Terry) of Culver. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
