We bid farewell to Virginia A. Graft of Roanoke, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 17, 2024 at the age of 98. Virginia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Eyanson and Mabel Eyanson (Ladd); her spouse Christian O. Graft; her sons, Terry Graft, Chris Graft and James Graft; and her siblings, Charlene Shoup, Naomi Boroff, Agnes Miller and Don Eyanson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly K. Kelley of Muncie, IN and Linda Graft of Chicago, IL; and her grandchildren, Jeff Vannatta, Gary Vannatta, Doug Graft, Kyle Graft, Michael Graft and Natalie Fisher. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the McElhaney Funeral Home-Roanoke Chapel (240 Crestwood Dr, Roanoke, IN 46783). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Old Town Hill Baptist Church, Muncie, IN or American Legion Post 160 Auxiliary, Roanoke, IN, both in care of McElhaney Funeral Home – Roanoke Chapel, 240 Crestwood Drive, Roanoke, IN, 46783.
