He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. Swain and Edna Swain (Wall); and his stepsister Vicki Bickel. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Baumgardner; his children, Joshua W. Swain, Joseph A. Swain, Nanette Hardcastle of Albion, IN and Jennell O'Hare (Tom); his stepchildren, Tyson Biehl (Jill) and Tonya Ptak of Huntington, IN.; his sisters, Tonya Buzzard (Gary) of Warren, IN, Trudy Swain and Cindy Dillahay (Bob); his stepsister Cindy Carter of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Brett Swain, Michael O'Hare, Daniel O'Hare, Thomas O'Hare, Will Swain, Livia Swain, Lee Hardcastle, Madison Ptak, Mason Ptak, Caydnce Biehl and Jaedyn Biehl; and his great grandchild Otto Swain.
