She was predeceased by : her parents, Glenn Howard and Lillian Purene Rupert (McCombs); her husband Bill G. Rogers; her son Cameron G. Rogers; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Patricia and Virginia Mae; and her siblings, Ruth Archibald, Mary Lahr, Bill and Paul Rupert.

She is survived by : her sons, John William Rogers (Betty) of Huntington, IN, Joseph E. Rogers (Yendi) of Lafayette, IN and James Arden Rogers of Roanoke; and her grandchildren, Jamie, Aaron, Adam, Shirley, Jonathan, Cynthia and Glenn. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great -grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Chapel Community Church in loving memory of Virginia.
