The passing of Mary L. Dalrymple of Roanoke, Indiana, born in Kokomo, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 16, 2024 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Hazel Lucille Miller (Lynch) and Ralph G. Miller; her husband Robert L. Dalrymple; her son R. Alan Dalrymple; her daughter-in-law Beverly Dalrymple Zollinger; and her stepsister Joanna Jane Grassl.

She is survived by : her daughters, Jean A. Collins (David) of Harlan, IN and Jill L. Owens (James) of Roanoke, IN; her grandchildren, Nathan Dalrymple, Jill Meekin, Jesse Owens, Camrey Bush, Andrews Collins, Drew Owens, Adam Collins and Logan Owens; and her brothers, Phillip Shideler (Barbara) of Lubbock, TX and Dennis M. Shideler of Farmersville, OH. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the McElhaney Funeral Home-Roanoke Chapel (240 Crestwood Dr, Roanoke, IN 46783). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lancaster Cemetery (5999 S 300 W, Huntington, IN 46750).
